What this covers
Cookies and the similar browser storage this site uses. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers the personal data you send us directly.
Essential
One item, set by us. It remembers that you have already seen the opening animation, so it does not replay on every page. It holds no personal data and is cleared when you close the browser. The site does not work properly without it.
Analytics
Google Analytics, which counts visits and tells us which pages are read and which buttons are tapped. We see totals and patterns, not individuals. This is not essential and the site works with it blocked.
Advertising
Google Ads and the Meta pixel, which let us see whether someone who clicked an advert went on to book a SleepScan, and let us show adverts to people who have visited. Not essential.
Live chat
Our chat widget is provided by respond.io, which keeps a small identifier so a conversation continues if you change page. Without it every message would start a new chat.
Your choice
On your first visit you are asked. Until you answer, and if you say no, the analytics and advertising items above are switched off: they cannot store anything on your device or identify you. Only the essential item and the chat identifier are used. Saying no changes nothing about how the site works.
Changing your mind
Your answer is remembered in your browser. Clearing this site's data under your browser's Settings and then Privacy will make the question appear again, and you can answer differently. Browser-level tracking protection and ad blockers also stop these items, and we do not work around either.
